List of species observed in the canopy layer of forests inventoried by the IFFSC.
The list contains information about species, such as threat status (Livro Vermelho and CONSEMA), ecological group*, forms of rarity (IFFSC, 2017 – Vol. 7), among others. The list also brings information on species' occurrence in different forest types and water sheds.
*The ecological group was defined based on the literature (Flora Ilustrada Catarinense, Projeto Madeira de SC, etc.) and was reviewed by IFFSC specialists.

NOTICE: Data by municipality only includes plot data, not herbarium data, and adds up to 449 Sample Units in 205 municipalities. As the objective is the analysis of the state, there are no plots in all municipalities. Some municipalities do not have Sample Units because they are small, because there is no more forest, among other reasons.
